Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist

Dr Thandi Seloka, a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist, registered with the Health Profession Council of South Africa (HPCSA), a fellow of the College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (SA), Master of Medicine (MMed) from University of Pretoria.

She is a diligent professional with proven history of dynamic and detailed patient care. Committed to working closely with her patients, families, and other professionals for well-rounded medical care. She has an energetic and welcoming personality that makes you comfortable and relaxed, compassionate, caring, and passionate about women’s reproductive and sexual health, with an interest in adolescent wellbeing.

Dr Tivani Mbambu

Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist

Dr Tivani Mbambu is a dynamic and passionate Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She started her medical journey by earning her undergraduate medical degree at the esteemed University of Cape Town in 2010. Out of her passion and purpose she then pursued specialization in Obestrics and Gynaecology with the University of Pretoria. She also obtained her Masters in Medicine from University of Pretoria and is a Fellow of the College of Medicine. She is a published author with a great passion for research. 
 
She is passionate and holistic about women’s health. She is evidence driven when pursuing all that concerns the care of her patients. She aims to treat all her patients with kindness and the outmost respect. Her passion makes room for all her patients to receive all they require from her care. She has a fresh approach on women’s health while getting to know her patients as she assists them with the conditions they present with. She has a great interest in contraception and minimally invasive gynecological surgery.

What is your cancellation policy?

We kindly ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Pregnancy & Prenatal Care

When should I schedule my first prenatal visit?

We recommend scheduling your first prenatal visit as soon as you confirm your pregnancy, ideally between 6-8 weeks.

Do you offer ultrasounds at the centre?

Yes, we provide in-house ultrasounds as part of our comprehensive prenatal care services.

Can I bring a partner or family member to my appointments?

Absolutely! We encourage you to bring a partner or support person to your appointments.

Gynaecological Health

How often should I have a Pap smear?

It is recommended to have a Pap smear every 3 years starting at age 21, or as advised by your doctor based on your medical history.

Do you offer treatments for menstrual disorders?

Yes, we treat conditions such as irregular cycles, heavy bleeding, and painful periods. Book a consultation to discuss your concerns.

Billing & Insurance

Do you accept medical aid?

Yes, we work with most major medical aids. Please contact us to confirm if your plan is accepted.

What payment options do you offer?

We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and EFT payments.

Can I get an estimate of the costs before my appointment?
